The travel speeches can be really fun so try to pick a topic that both interests you and the audience. A good topic is a place that not very many people have been to, but know a lot about. I did Sydney, Australia which I think was very interesting but some might disagree with me and Hannah did Tokyo which I found quite informative. Also try to pick a place that you have been to or know a lot about. One thing that I think a lot of people forget is that food can be a paragraph in your speech all by itself and is interesting. When you give your speech try to fill it with a couple of anecdotes or interesting facts to keep people entertained. Also try to become a cheesy salesman for the speech and pretend that you have to sell the idea to the audience. The best part about the travel speech is the visual aid which gives you extra credit. Besides the obvious benefit of extra credit, the speeches to inform (the next ones) require it so it's good to get some practice for later.
